Alumni Lenny Loughner graduated in 2012 and went to the University of Texas at Arlington. In high school Loughner participated in theater, acting in every show except for one.
What have you done after high school?
“I attended University of Texas at Arlington and received a Bachelors of Science Degree,” Loughner said. “I have worked for discount tire while attending college and am now looking for a full time job in advertising, marketing, or Human Resources.”
What made you want to do what you are doing now?
“I have always loved people and entertaining and that is why I want to go into that field,” Loughner said.
What did you learn or experience in high school affect you in college and beyond?
That college is different,” Loughner said. “Also you might not have to study in high school but you have to in college. I made that mistake my first semester and it took me the rest of my college career to get my grades back to where I wanted them to be.”
What are your plans for the future?
“To get married to my beautiful fiancée, eventually have a family,” Loughner said. “And enjoy life with them. Find a job that I enjoy and have a successful life.”
What is your advice to current high schoolers?
“To have fun and enjoy the 4 years,” Lougher said. “It goes by so fast and you don’t want to waste it. Find something to do and do it. Don’t just sit back. Always strive to be the best that you can be. Surrounding yourself with good and positive people will take you further in life than people who are negative.”
