“Learning at a young age to never be afraid to go after what you want has benefited me,” Green said. “It is important to set goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to reach them.”
Explain your job now.
“I currently am a masters student here, as mentioned above,” Green said. “We have three classes a semester, and clinical rotation. The clinical rotations can range from Tarleton sports to local high schools, junior colleges, orthopedics, and health clinics. On top of classes, rotations, and our student organization; I am also an employee of Logan’s Roadhouse in Burleson, where I serve and bartend.”
What are your plans for the future?
“Following graduation in May 2019 with my masters,” Green said. “I plan to sit for my BOC exam to become a licensed athletic trainer. I hope to end up as a head athletic trainer at a junior college in Texas.”
What is your advice to current high schoolers?
“Set goals for yourself and don’t be afraid to go after them,” Green said. “Never worry about the people behind you, because they are behind you for a reason.”
