Alumnus Kayla Jimenez graduated in 2009 and started going to Ogle for Esthiology.
What have you done after high school?
“I went to Ogle for Esthiology but I didn’t finish because I got pregnant with my son,” Jimenez said.
What made you want to do what you are doing now?
“I’m not at my dream job,” Jimenez said. “I basically had to settle to be able to provide & care for Rylan”
Explain your job now.
“I do all the accounting,” Jimenez said.
What are your plans for the future?
“To become a surgical tech,” Jimenez said.
What is your advice to current high schoolers?
“Work, volunteer & get all the experience you can,” Jimenez said. “Get as much education as you can. I was so focused on my relationship that it took a lot of my time and focus off my school work. It may seem like the right feeling in the moment but think of your future & your career. Think of College early, get involved; all my best memories come from summit & legacy, do as much as possible and never rush in life. If I knew what I know now, my life would be completely different.”
